GMR Varalakshmi CARE Hospital is a wing of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, which is the CSR arm of the GMR group. It is a 200 bedded Multi speciality hospital inaugurated on 2nd April 2011 by the then Honble Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee.
GMR Varalakshmi CARE Hospital offers affordable and comprehensive health care services to the patients under one roof. It offers services in General Medicine, General Surgery, ENT, Neuroscience, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Neonatology & Paediatrics. It is spread over 25 acres campus expandable up to 500 beds, planned for Medical College and Nursing school.
Emergency / Casualty services are offered round the clock. Centrally air-conditioned outpatient consultation chambers are available in OPD block to accommodate all specialities. The hospital has planned super speciality clinics on weekly basis.
Situated on a 25-acre campus expandable up to 500 beds, the facility is also designed to accommodate a Medical College and Nursing school in the future. The hospital covers a wide range of medical specialties, including General Medicine, General Surgery, ENT, Neuroscience, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Neonatology & Pediatrics. Operating round the clock, the hospital’s Emergency/Casualty services are complemented by centrally air-conditioned outpatient consultation chambers in the OPD block, catering to all specialties. Additionally, the hospital hosts super specialty clinics on a weekly basis.
With state-of-the-art infrastructure, the hospital features Medical, Surgical, and Pediatric Intensive Care Units, along with Male & Female General wards, an exclusive Pediatric ward, and Labour rooms. Three well-equipped laminar flow operation theaters enhance the hospital’s surgical capabilities.
Cutting-edge medical equipment includes a Siemens 96-slice CT scanner, the first Artificial Intelligence-powered CT, Digital X-Ray, 60 MA High-frequency Mobile X-Ray, Auto analyzers, Ultrasound, TMT Echo, Monitors, ECG Machines, Laparoscopic machines, Infusion pumps, Ventilator & Anaesthesia Machines, High-Pressure Steam sterilizers, Defibrillator, Electrolyte Analyzer, Blood Coagulation analyzer, Haematology Analyzer, Binocular Microscope, Trinocular Microscope, Automated Immunology Analyzers, Hemodialysis Machines, Urology Endoscope, Laminar Flow workstation & Bio-safety cabinets, Autoclave machines, and Double door sterilizers. The hospital relies on a centralized medical gas system for uninterrupted supplies.
To accommodate patient preferences, the hospital offers both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned single rooms, as well as twin-sharing rooms. A dedicated pharmacy and a hygienically prepared patient diet and food service in the approved canteen, sanctioned by the Food Standards and Safety Authority of India (FSSAI), ensure comprehensive care for patients and their attendants.
GMR VARALAKSHMI FOUNDATION
GMR Varalakshmi Foundation (GMRVF) is the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of the GMR Group. Its mandate is to develop social infrastructure and enhance the quality of life of communities generally around the locations where the Group has a presence.
Today it has a pan-India presence and at all locations, GMRVF takes up activities in tune with thrust areas, including around GMR projects in Nepal.
