Physiotherapy plays a key role in helping patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance overall quality of life. It involves physical interventions guided by detailed assessments and is carried out by qualified physiotherapists.
At our hospital, physiotherapy services are available as standalone care or as part of a broader medical or rehabilitation plan, depending on each patient’s needs.
Our physiotherapy services include:
Neurological Physiotherapy: For patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, or other nervous system conditions.
Orthopaedic Physiotherapy: Focused on joint, muscle, and bone-related conditions, including fractures, arthritis, and post-surgical recovery.
Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy: Aiding patients with heart and lung conditions through breathing exercises and endurance training.
Paediatric Physiotherapy: Supporting children with developmental delays or physical disabilities.
Geriatric Physiotherapy: Tailored for older adults to improve strength, balance, and independence.
Respiratory Physiotherapy: Assisting with lung function and breathing techniques, particularly for patients with chronic respiratory conditions.
The Blood Bank is a vital addition to the hospital’s services, especially in a rural setting where access to such facilities is limited. It provides not only whole blood but also essential components like platelet concentrate, red blood cells, and fresh frozen plasma , critical for patients undergoing surgeries or requiring emergency care, given that the nearest alternative is over 40 km away.
The hospital also offers free blood transfusions for patients with Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia, easing the burden for families managing chronic conditions.
Fully licensed and compliant with all safety protocols, the Blood Bank ensures that every unit is collected, tested, and screened for HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Malaria, and Syphilis. It serves both inpatients and individuals from nearby communities who may need access to safe and timely transfusions.
